A former fraternity house, located near the corner of Armory and Euclid, now offers rooms for rent through Airbnb. After the local fraternity chapter lost their status and all the members moved out, the alumni board reached out to two local Airbnb hosts to help renovate and prepare the building for listing. The result is one of the most unique Airbnb rentals in the heart of campus!
Built in 1921, the renovated house currently offers 7 rooms with plans to add another 3 rooms soon. The bathrooms are shared with showers on the 2nd and 3rd floors as well as a private, single bathroom on the 1st floor. A large, open space on the 3rd floor, available to rent, would be perfect for events like dancing, yoga, or meditation. A huge banquet hall seats more than 40 guests with an oversized kitchen for cooking.
Rooms can be rented individually, ranging in price from $40-$70. The entire home is available to rent for an average of $550 a night. It looks like the rooms are almost completely booked for big events like Homecoming, Mom’s and Dad’s weekends, and even for 2018 Graduation.
Speaking of it, Homecoming Week is October 22-28, and includes tons of events! Check out our Events Page to keep track of what’s going on!
